Alessia is currently completing her third year of a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the Australian Catholic University. At Box Hill Speech Pathology she works as an Allied Health Assistant and also provides support services to the administration team when needed. 

 

In her roles at the clinic, Alessia is passionate about supporting clients and their families throughout their therapy journey. She enjoys working alongside the clinical team and is committed to creating a positive, welcoming, and supportive environment for everyone she meets.

 

Alessia spends her time supporting our Speech Pathologists with patient care, therapy preparation, and the development of engaging therapy materials. Under the guidance of the Speech Pathologists, she delivers creative and encouraging therapy support sessions that help clients work towards their communication goals while reinforcing strategies introduced and recommended during their speech pathology sessions. She values building meaningful relationships with families and enjoys celebrating each client’s progress along the way.

 

As she continues her studies and gains clinical experience, Alessia is committed to expanding her knowledge and developing her professional skills to provide the highest standard of support for clients and their families.
