Box Hill Speech Pathology was founded in 1992 by principal speech pathologist Vincent Borg. Vince wanted to provide high quality speech pathology services to families in the Eastern area of Melbourne after many years of working at Box Hill Hospital and Frankston Hospital. 

Vince established the clinic in a converted house at our original site on Elgar Rd in Box Hill North. We started with a very small team of 3 speech pathologists and, over time, expanded as demand for services increased. This was particularly the case following the introduction of NDIS in 2017. We created new clinic rooms, affectionately titled ‘The Cottage’ and ‘The Pod’ but eventually outgrew our Elgar Rd premises.

This ultimately led to a relocation to our current site in Brentford Square, Forest Hill. We currently have a team of over 10 speech pathologists, as well as a number of support staff.

Box Hill Speech Pathology has seen many changes over this time, but we have remained committed to providing high quality speech pathology services, as Vince set out to do all those years ago.
